As much as I respect that John wanted to shield him from that life, he would have been better prepared if he knew about the things that go bump in the night, and wouldn't have been the first course in their dining frenzy.
Yeah, after I was like 'Oh- I get it' I don't really pay attention unless my boys are on screen LOL so I didn't even KNOW when it was that thing was shown until someone described it!
