Yeah, I noticed that too.

You have to realize though.. Season 3 didn't follow a lot of the first 2 seasons. So, yeah. I don't even think they realized that he wasn't wearing it. Trying to mix it up, or whatever.

But it could be that for the last few episodes he wasn't wearing it because of what dream!demon!Dean said. But I doubt that was even on purpose.

He did have it on in a few s3 eps , but nowhere near the amount he used to wear it . IMO they should just do the show naked anyway, throw all the clothes out. Hey, there is a budget saver right there.

I saw the jacket at least in two episodes, one of that 'm sure it's the Christmas one... I can go recheck the other ones but I swear, you brought home to me something that I haven't been thinking about in a few good weeks.

Honestly, I'm not really sure. He did wear it a few times, like in "Sin City" and the Christmas episode, those were quite noticeable for me. But otherwise IDK. I think S3 was the season where he wore it the least. It's like they wore less of their normal wear and more of those suits. But you're right, it's his signature look, though they could be evolving his character to go lesser in the leather jacket? They did with Sam, because in S1 Sam wore mostly hoodies and now he's wearing all those different kinds of shirts.

But that doesn't really make sense, because everyone loves the siganture Dean Winchester look, and they did establish that Dean does hold onto those things. The car and the music and the leather jacket. But yeah, I think S3 was seriously lacking in the leather jacket. Which is kind of sad. I know the show has its budget issues, but c'mon. It's the leather jacket man!
