LOL, the cut question is random. I use them to minimize the space my entries take up on other people's flists, purely to not annoy the people who scroll through their flist. I don't even notice if people use cuts cos I got notifs for everyone so yeah. But I think they're a good idea cos yeah, it's not always fun to have an entire page taken up by an entry.
