I am not sure. What I know about children's heart surgery - not much - tells me that this should fix the problem that was already giving I trouble with her lungs now. So hopefully that problem can be reversed now that the hole is fixed.

In the long run some people need more surgery to their heart valves but not everyone. She's probably good for the near future though.

Again, I don't know a lot about this particular field...
