Okay, so this is from Steve's MySpace blog today, (details after on how I ran across it, cause I DON'T go there)

Just wanted to say thank you for all the kind words and feedback about the album. It has been brought to my attention that a lot of people have ripped the music off the site and are bootlegging it. I hope that people who do that sort of thing understand that it is not only illegal, it's very uncool and it's really disappointing... especially from anyone that considers themselves a fan of an artist and their music. It's not something I'm gonna get mad about because in all honesty, people could wait till the album comes out and do the same thing but we thought it would be nice to give everyone a preview. If taking advantage of that gesture feels okay to some people, that's their cross to bear.
I don't steal from the artists that I like and I encourage everyone else not to as well. Sorry to be preachy :)

HERE is his blog that this ^ came from, if you have a MySpace, you should drop by and let him know how much you appreciate the preview, and that you are looking forward to BUYING his CD. He could be a total dick about it, and take down the preview, but he doesn't, and I he is more of a wonderful person for 'rising above' the drama (honestly, I wouldn't be able to). I italicized the 'rising above' if you didn't catch it, happy to point it out for you.
Um, okay, how I ran across it, when I DON'T go on MySpace, well apparently I had it up in a previous window for the radio interview link from a while ago, and I pressed the back button to many times, and it sent me back to his MySpace page, but I am really glad I went there.
If you are gonna rip it, YOU BETTER FREAKIN' BUY IT, um....really, nothing else, he said it nicer and more diplomatically, so I will leave it at that, because IT IS STEALING, so BUY IT, I mean, ANYONE in ANY COUNTRY can order it, they are released through CDBaby website (I even gave you the page with the search results for Steve so you can click right there, without doing any work).
So yeah, I changed my mind and I am gonna get preachy for a sec, BUY IT, I mean, it is amazing, and you can TELL how much of himself he poured into these songs, so the least you can do (even if you only want the songs Jensen did) is fork out the money and then you can have your very own piece of Steve, because seriously, he is IN this CD more so than some of the previous I think.
I mean, I am certainly not pointing fingers, and I hope no one I know is planning on NOT buying it, and just taking it, and in fact, I share some music with my friends, but it is usually to help them climb up on the artists/group's bandwagon with me. AND after they have heard it, I always encourage them (um...demand may be a better term to use) to buy the stuff they like, and if they don't eh, no loss. But if they fall in love with it (like everyone should with Steve's stuff) and just take it and don't plan to buy it? Well, THAT is really wrong, and ridiculous, and I am really upset that Steve has to deal with this complete and utter shit when he should be ecstatic about releasing the CD and enjoying his time in the UK.

I don't usually rant about stuff like this, but it got to me how great he is being about the whole thing, I mean, first Jason Manns and NOW Steve? It is crazy...
