Okay, this verse from 'Different Kind of Knight' was bugging the ever lovin' shit out of me for the last few days, and OMG, after listening to repeatedly, and looking up 'agave plant' I freaking GET IT! The italicized part is he part where I was going like this: o_O

Dude, leave it to a musician to make a metaphor out of tequila :P Okay, so my interpretation is that the girl in question was 'drowning her sorrows' in shots of tequila (which is made from an agave plant). Him cutting in on the dance, is him you know, talking to her and interrupting her 'dance' with tequila.  And tequila is the 'little mexican' (tequila (made from an agave plant) is a traditional mexican drink I am told, although I have only tried it once) :) Once you put it all together the metaphor kinda explains itself for the rest of the verse so I won't bore you :) So YAY!

Okay, really I am going now...I have to type up something. Just thought I would note for prosperities sake :) 


And since my public posts seem to be very google alert Kripke friendly :) I have vowed to put something 'Kripke Related' into each post :) An old interview from when people were going nutzo about Ruby and Bela being added to the roster, this quote says it all, and I love him for another 'take no shit' quote! Hee

LMAO! That reminds me of my best friend. When she first heard the song she didn't know that agave plant meant tequila and she wanted to know why he would sing a song that sounded so racist. She was very concerned about the him. When I told her she had a very headdesk moment. Poor thing.
