New Layout and Pimpage
I told you that previous one wouldn't last long, (I don't even know if everyone saw it). Anyways, my shiny new Red Wings layout (in honor of the Winter Classic Game on Jan 1st, yes, I know you all are like 'WTF?' but it is hiatus, and I love hockey WAY more than a lot of things, so there ya go) was 'edited' by My Twin (![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)

My Twin also made the header (all on her own, she is a genius and puts up with my picky ass with more grace than most would) out of pictures I took at the last game I went to :P
So you notice only ONE person in the banner right? Well there is a reason for that, he has been traded all three previous years, and since the Winter Classic game is played by a different team each year, he has suited up (and will again this year since he is on our team) in every single one! He is the ONLY player in the NHL that can make that claim! And he gave us a shutout against Chicago (the team we are playing against in the Winter Classic tomorrow) last night!
OH, also another little fun fact for ya, these two teams (My Red Wings and the Chicago Blackhawks) have played against each other more than any other two teams in NHL history. The Winter Classic will be our 701st time playing them since the league started (helps that we are both Original Six teams and in the same Conference). Will also be the first time TWO original Six teams play in the Classic. So excited, seriously!! If you are interested, more facts/details HERE.

And oh, pimpage time now:alena2b made amazing calendars for 2009. One Jensen one HERE and one Jared one HERE. They print up beautifully and even with the two Calendars I already have, I am thinking I need two more, I mean, I do have FOUR walls afterall :P And the boys are just so pretty resistance is futile. So go, flee, tell her how awesome they are!

Okay, like is this one okay? *points* The reason I like it (and cropped it like that) is cause the background was good, so I could crop closer, and with cropping right below Kristin's nose, I cut off her at the same point roughly that Tom was cut off by laying his head on her (right below his nose). It just looked good to me that way. Is that weird? LOL
Oh thanks, I am still messing with it. I changed the 'recent entries' to "Rookies" and the 'Archive' to "Veternas" do you think that's okay? Does it make sense to like 'non-fans' I mean, that is pretty universal, new and old. I was gonna go with 'Recent Acquisitions' and 'Previous Trades' but that may be too wordy. What do you think?
And what about the comments? 'Cheer for the Wings' is good?
